Trauma Is Personal
Sooner or later, we all face traumatic experiences. Trauma can arise from a single event or from repeated exposure to stress, danger, or other intense circumstances. The impact — whether or not trauma develops — depends largely on your nervous system's ability to regulate. A more stable nervous system can handle stress and triggers more effectively.
When Emotions Go Unprocessed
Even when you think you've "moved on," your body remembers everything. Events that may seem small on the surface — such as a loss, unsafe childhood, miscarriage, bullying, or hospitalization — can leave a deep imprint.
When emotional pain and stress are pushed away or ignored, they don't disappear — they embed themselves in the body. Over time, this can lead to both physical and mental complaints, as the body signals where energy is stuck and healing is needed.
What is BRTT®?
Body Remembers Trauma Therapy is a body-based method that helps release deeply stored trauma and chronic tension. With BRTT®, you can naturally discharge stress and bring your body back to a calm, regulated state.
Like animals that shake after a threat, our bodies are wired to tremble or shake to release trauma — if we allow it. Your body has deep wisdom and will guide the process in its own perfect way.
The Psoas: The "Muscle of the Soul"
In a BRTT® session, we don't talk much — we work with the body's memory. The psoas muscle, known as the "muscle of the soul," plays a central role. This deep core muscle connects the spine to the inner thighs and lies behind your internal organs. Traumatic memories are often stored here at a cellular level.
During BRTT®, we activate the psoas with specific exercises to gently trigger the release of held stress and emotion — allowing your body to tremble and let go.
What is TRB®?
Your breath is your anchor. It's a powerful tool for deep relaxation, emotional release, and healing.
There's truth in the saying: "Breathe yourself healthy and free."
Breath and Stress
In stressful situations, we tend to breathe shallowly or even hold our breath. This creates a high, chest-based breathing pattern and causes emotions to become trapped in the body.
Breathwork helps restore a deeper, more connected breathing rhythm — which creates space to release what's been held inside.
What to Expect in a TRB® Session
In a session, you'll experience a series of different breathing techniques that bring you into a light trance. This helps you move from your head into your body. The mind (ego) may try to maintain control — but as it softens, the breath takes you on a powerful inner journey.
Healing on All Levels
During breathwork, you may experience memories, emotions, blockages, ancestral or even past-life themes rising to the surface. Physical sensations such as shaking are common — the body is releasing trauma that could not be processed before.
Healing can occur on multiple levels:

Every Session Is Unique
Themes may repeat over several sessions. One time the release may be mostly physical (through shaking), another time emotional. You can't force or direct what surfaces — trust that whatever arises is exactly what you're ready to process.

For optimal results, we recommend three to five sessions, depending on your needs.
You can book individual sessions or a tailor-made healing journey. Each session includes seven distinct breathing techniques that support you in reconnecting to your body and emotions.
Through this process, breath becomes your bridge — leading you back to the roots of your wounds, and into deep transformation.

Healing Happens in Layers
For some, the emotional layers arise during the very first session. For others, it takes more time and safety to reach those depths. Each session gently touches a part of your soul that is ready to heal.
Just as these layers didn't form all at once, they also won't release all at once.
But with every session, you'll feel yourself opening a little more — allowing your emotions to surface, be expressed, and fully released. This is the path of true letting go.
Practical Information
The sessions are done fully clothed, lying down on a mat.
You'll receive an intake form in advance to assess whether the therapy is suitable for you and to help you prepare.
A session can last up to 3 hours, depending on what arises — so make sure to allow yourself plenty of time.
